chase127 ADA 45-P
So i've saved up the money for my first ADA tank...
![]() I really like the 45-P (18in x 10.5in x 12in) because it it offers room for more fish and plants than the Mini series, and i can keep it under budget with my light and filter. UPDATE 12/16 Got the tank, ADA goods, and light today! Specs so far: ADA 45-P Amazonia Current 20" 1x40W NA 8000K Lamp Last edited by chase127; 07-15-2009 at 09:06 PM. |

meh. so no inspiration... i'll have to see what i can do
so if 9L is about 20lbs... and 6L is about 13lbs.... do you think i can cover it with 6L? i'll probably end up getting another 3L to be safe... |

Here's 2 45-P journals from APC...
http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...-45cm-ada.html http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/f...-ada-45cm.html I like the second one -- Good idea on the lighting too. Find a ~36W square pin PC fixture that will take the 8000K ADA bulb, like this one: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...8&pcatid=11418

Congratulations.
On the amount of substrate. Two 3L would be plenty. But I'd go ahead and get the one 9L bag since it's not that more cost for future scapes. What kind of hoses and in/out pipes are going to use on your filter? I'm setting up a mini m right now and will have eheim 2011. Need to get some clear hose and clear pipes and looking right now.
