Yo Yo,
I picked up some Wild Angels at my last Aquarium Society Meeting. Got these 2 juvenilles for $8. (Kind of dirty pictures. Need to clean the glass on the front of the tank) and It's hard to see the bars on them, but they're juvenilles and their fins are out of this world. That bubbly mechanism in the back is a DIY box filter I made out of a Kim Chi jar and the top of one of those Hagan Hang on the Back CO2 injectors. This is my 38g. It's currently split in half. One half Vals and wild angels with "jar filter" Second half 2 large adult marble angels (2 females that think they are a pair...yahtzee) Penguin 330 BioWheel some Jafa fern, myriophyllum aquaticum, and anything else that I need to float. This tank has 18W on it. Got to love lowlight plants.

Yeah,
I totally dig these Angels. I've got a super veil, which I love, 2 Marbles, and then these 2 Wild ones. I like them a lot and find them very very interesting to watch. They (so far) get along with each other. If my luch runs my way, maybe I'll get a pair. But my luck sucks, so probably not.

Super nice looking fish. I've always wanted wild angels too.
They look like they're spreading their fins nicely. Nothing can beat the looks of these fish. I've been keeping fish off/on for about 20 years, angels have always been in the picture for me. Several years of discus also. When I got back into it recently I've noticed that the general quality of angels in pet stores has declined. The last pet store angels I had grew out to 5 to 6 inch body size, were super healthy and produced countless broods. I don't see anything that has that potential anymore. You've convinced me FG, I'm going to have to order some wild ones. |

Hey!! Love the name of your Town!!
I lucked out with these 2 at the auction where I got them. They're fins are incredible, uncrimped and always full. Got to love that. My super veil is beautiful too, however, she only raises her fins out when she is eating or attentive. I love these fish. Although they can get difficult when they don't get along. That's why I've invested in a nice tank divider to keep my fish happy.
