No problem, I'm sure it will get even better.

My AR seems to like a root tab every now and then. Try that and make sure CO2 is strong, once it starts growing chop it all down to like 4" and it should sprout nice bright red branches. Mine seems to exhaust something every now and then and get ratty, but that treatment seems to be promoting lots of growth.

Well, here we go again. I went to the LFS about a week ago to look for Ghost Shrimp and they had Dwarf Hairgrass! I bought it along with a Sword. I was just gonna dunk them in but once I got started, I couldn't stop myself. I pulled EVERYTHING, gave my substrate a GOOD vacuum (god it needed it, you just wouldn't believe the crud I pulled out of there) and found that all the yuck build up had killed 2 of my fish. I think that was my biggest algae contributor cuz I haven't seen much except maybe a little on the glass but far less then normal. Course that probably has allot to do with the fact that I changed my lighting too. I was using 4 x 36" (2 25 watt and 2 30 watt) T-8, normal driven. Now I'm running 2 x 36" 25 watt, both OD x2. One Zoo-Med Flora Sun (5000K) and one Zoo-Med Ultra Sun (6500K) and wow do I like the appearance of this combination! My plants seem to be growing a little slower but still strongly. B4, my CO2 must have been in the 45-50 ppm range, my DC was always bright yellow. I dropped down the CO2 and I think I'm more in the 30-35 ppm range, DC is light green constantly (leaving it on 24/7) I pulled out the Rotalla bush that was overgrown and nasty from all the BBA and lack of flow and crud that had deposited on the leaves, cut out the fresh clean growths and re-planted them. Put the drift wood in my 75G Cichlid tank (yes that's gonna be my next project, I'm slowly amassing all the equipment as I can afford to, the Oscar and Dempsey's have to go, damn I'm hooked on my planted tank) fed my O most of my Guppies, Platties, Columbian Tetras. And I added 3 German Rams (now these are the BOMB!!!!) I also added a couple rocks to the scape and did a little slope in the back Right corner.

Here's how it all turned out:

And Side view (sorry for the glare, didn't take these pics at 2AM as per normal)

Yeah, I know it looks barren but it's filling in MUCH faster then expected. And besides, I'm much happier with it's overall appearance. Everything seems to be much healthier.

Any Feedback and critique (positive or negative) is welcome.

Looks great. I'm not a big fan of the 2nd rock from the left though, just looks out of place. I like the look of the hair grass in your tank, its one of my personal favorites... Planted a large portion in a 125 discus recently, it fills in nicely.

Keep up the updates and good work.
