Need advice on driftwood placement
Need advice on the placement of the driftwood. It is a 16 gallon bowfront. The wood will be completely covered with taiwan moss. It will be mostly swords and vals in the tank.
1. ![]() or 2. ![]() Please keep in mind on #2, that I will be cutting it along the blue painters tape, and that it will be centered in the tank. It will almost look like a root emerging from the substrate. Advice? |

I'm voting for #2, with the idea you had planned.

I like the reverse of #2. Stick the other end in the soil and let the end with the painters tape protrude.
