Looks like you are pretty handy with drink bottles. Ever thought of taking up water rocketry?
That is quite a setup you have there though. What kind of pump to do have sitting in that trash can. Have you ever had any trouble with water being pushed back into your CO2 reactors? I don't see a check valve on the co2 line. That would be something I would add just in case. (Opps never mind I found the check valve

I saw many post from people from Indonesia that use volcanic gravel as their substrate and the tanks look awesome. Is it popular over there and cheap? You have very nice tank set up with lots of healthy plants. Just one comment, I would move that crypt (too tall to be in the front) to the far right behind anubias, IMO this will make your scape more balance. Nice job!!!

Yes, I only use 1 Metal Halide 70 watt. For me, lumens is more important to decide how much the need of light. this is how I understand about lightning ![]() Sorry for the language in the picture. please comment about it. @vibes_jedi99 There are several type of volcanic gravel in here. The price around US$2,5-3,5/25kg. With the right one, it should be fine. |

This is hands down the best tank ive seen in a while that hasnt cost $239,003,342 (and still had hair algae problems)...
can you give us a little more info on the lighting setup, photos of the tech behind this tank and also the substrate etc? would be keen to hear your 'low budget' technique, as I also did the same in a 260gallong but used flouros, which in hindsight was no good. |
