Banana split

this is what i made for my girlfriend.
20x15x15cm
10 watts fluorescent light
anubias nana
java moss
3 ramshorn snails
5 red cherry shrimps

after 1 month

moss growth, with some hitchhiker pelia

there's absolutely no water movement. i got lots of problems during the 1st week. slimy water surface and tank walls. 75% water changed twice a week during this period, after that once a week.

Is that a kritter keeper?

a small sponge filter will do you wonders, hide it behind the wood.

yes the tank is the plastic one that usually come with a hood for little creature pets. i doubt if i can add a filter to this one, it's just too small for anything.

umm yeah, but someone still got my camera on hold...
it's still unfiltered, 50% water change once a week. very slight algae on glass.

the christmas moss is stunned. very little growth but not dying at all. i guess it needs more light than my 10 watts fluorescent. flame moss and fissidens singapore did well there..
