I like the way the anubias nana has grown, and all the nice lush growth!

She moved the Angels to a larger tank, and its a good thing too. Angels are peaceful but for some reason they just love to eat neons.

Nice tank G, Is that bush to the left Hornwort? If not what is it? I really like the way it fills that side of the tank.

I'm really envious. I cannot find anyone that sells the ballasts i need to overdrive my light. Anyone knows if Lilaeopsis braliensis will grow at 1,2 wpg (i got 36 w. on a 30 gal.)? Any other plants that can?

yeeeehaaaa...
that tank is very nice and super lush !
I was gonna ask the same thing about that plant because I have a small piece of it and it is growing like crazy... If thats what I have to look forward to i cant wait ! Funny thing is is I have NO idea where it came from...I almost threw it out when it was only about an inch long and now it looks just like that...only much much smaller... :P LOL when you take that stuff out of the water it almost seems to disappear the plant is so finely bodied !

Gorgeous Tank Gd... thanks for the peek !

That plant on the left that is sort of taking over is similar to hornwart, but it isn't. There is a bit of a story there, that plant is actually some illegal plant that was released into a lake around here and took over, choking off a lot of the natural plant life.

I got some of it by accident when I bought a Betta a few months ago, the sprig was maybe half an inch long at the time. I was curious and grew it out, but the stuff is crazy, it grows about an inch a day (per stem!). I asked my LFS about it (the one that accidentally gave it to me) and he was a bit embarrassed that some had left the store (he had harvested some for his own use from the lake!).

This tank now has 4 watts per gallon using 2700k screw in Compact Flourescent Bulbs, CRI of 94. The light is very yellow, but the colours are so crisp in this tank I havent had the heart to change the bulbs.

There is no CO2 in this tank yet, I havent gotten around to it (and honestly its growing at nice pace now). My main focus is on the large tank. Once I have the new bulbs over the 135 I am going plant crazy :-).

I had to move the angels to the 32 gallon tank. They were simply too crowded in this tank and were really hurting each other. I've added another angel that I rescued from walmart (a real pretty one in a tank full of crap, good colour, nice tall fins) and things are looking better.

This tank now has the folowing;

12 Neons
4 Otto's
3 SAE's (very small, they will move when they are bigger)
3 Platties
1 Cory
13 Shrimp

Filtered by the mighty Aquaclear Mini! Woo!

This tank is definately tied for my favorite with the big one

I managed to get a reasonable closeup of some of the shrimp in this tank. There is one of the female Amano shrimp (upper left, laden with eggs), the Male, and a "mystery" shrimp I have not identified yet (the small orange one on the right)

Nope.. Its something else.. I've been looking for a while and have found several similar species, but nothing that looks "quite" like this one.

I have 4-5 different algae eating shrimp in this tank, somewhat similar, but different.
