Beautiful! How long has it been running? I've tried a few low-tech tanks like that and they did fabulously for only a while.

Very nice growth rates. Especially impressive for a low-maintenence tank! You've done a good job combatting algae. The thing about slow growth tanks is that you need to rely on leaves staying around for a while. Fast growth tanks can risk some algae because the leaves are replaced so often. You've done a heck of a job, there.

Changed the style quite a bit as the tank was starting to feel way to crowded for the fish. Besides i love full blown amazon swords.

I really dig what you have done.

I love the fact that you got that sword to grow so well. How much light do you have on that tank anyway?

I also like the light color substrate

its 2 *15 watt NO's (an eclipse 2 hood) so 1.2 wpg

The substrate is argonite sand, you can find it at petco.

I like it. Very lush and green. I miss the dense Giant Hygro, though! I can't get mine to grow quite like that!
