My plants hate me!
|
I found the trick is to adjust the water pressure to the point where the sand gets stirred up, but it doesn't get so stirred up that it will shoot the sand out of the bucket. It took some finesse on the faucet, but we lost very little sand and cleaned it up a lot.

i got my sand clean, it was in my 55gal tank already so all i did was fill it up half way, stir up the sand and start to bucket it out. i had to do this a few times, i flooded my driveway (lol) but got clean water and sand. I just want to say thanxs to all, you been a big help and i now know how to clean sand
