Berried Shrimp

OMG,
I didn't know it was going to be this fast. It's been 3 weeks and I have 4-5 berried shrimp!
Gotta find the camera and get the special fish food.
I don't seen any juveniles anymore.

Yeah, they don't waste time. Once you actually get these guys to survive, its actually pretty easy to keep it going.

I only had mines a week or so and I got 2. (most of the ones I got are babies)

WOW they have heaps of eggs.
My ones are no where near that big when berried. if they are berried...does it mean they are fertilized eggs? Thanks(sorry to hijack the thread) and good work with the EGGS

It must be the "secret food" you're feeding...

If you guys think that's a lot of eggs then you haven't kept cherries long enough.

Just because they're berried doesn't always mean its fertilized. There's quite a few rarer cases where the eggs don't ever hatch. Not referring to your shrimp (to the owner of this thread), I'm just saying in general.

Usually berried shrimp will drop the eggs within a few days if they're not fertilized.

Good question. I want to be a Adult Shrimp Director someday too, but then I won't have fertilized eggs.

You know I'll check everyday. If they drop I'll put them back in

Wish I could answer that, I don't have any, but I'd love to have some soon.

I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS, YOUR SO SUPPORTIVE (so I got new pics)

The smaller female was not camera shy

Female bonding in the Harem, lucky guy in the middle

I waited 1 hour with the camera so the extra large female would come out of the DW (she was busy stuffing the eggs back in as she came out)
