Coming Soon UpdatesThis week)

Left foreground: Remove java moss & replace with marseila minuta
Right foreground: Remove java moss & replace with Anubias nana 'petite'
Center background: Add Limno Amro.

Shrimp are doing just fine. My ph is around 7.2. I'm thinking of adding peat to the filter (in a mesh bag)

Sounds good. Maybe use some RO water with your tap water at WC time?

I hope your journal is better than mine, because I have this tendency to just let them die slowly and painfully.

Change in plans... This 29 gal is going to be simple and basic for the CRS.

I plan on only keeping Marsiela Minuta, Anubias nana petite, flame moss

All are low tech low light plants. I'll update with pics with new scape. The Manzanita package should be coming today or tomorrow.

in a 29 gal tank can 10 CRS find each other to breed? lol.. I feel like people with a 10 gal tank and with 10 CRS have a better chance? I dont know, I may be completely off.

so I was gone over the weekend. I noticed that the top of the water, there are these little bugs that seems to have wings. They are alive. I took them out. Hopefully they aren't any more when i get home from work. Any ideas? They were like clear/greenish color. I ordered a spongefilter so hopefully that will break up some more surface aeragation.

Bleh, I need to settle down and just stick with one scape! haha.

I'm changing it once again. I'm going to be using Flame Moss or Taiwan moss to the woods. Instead of the "flower" look, it will be lower to the ground and more horizontal. I'm hoping the Flame Moss will be the height of the tank.

Will update with pics once it is setup.

In regards to the flying bugs.... I bought a new Power head yesterday that gives more Surface movement. There are bubbles that get to the top of the water and pop. The bugs are a lot less now. Ugh... Still dont know why I have them....

The tank looks good, Choose one scape and keep it, for a few months at least!

The bugs are mites or spring tails, they're normal.
