Keep it as is...at least that's my opinion. I think the part I like the most about your set up is that it isn't all wild and the shrimp are easier to view.
Awesome looking set up! I am thinking about picking up yet another tank to do something much like what you have done as I don't want to disturb the shrimp that are in existing tanks.
