Excel in CRS tank?


Anyone dose Excel in a CRS tank?
Any deaths or problems?

I consider it not a wise choice. I have had bad experiences with it.

I have no problems using it with RCS,Yellows,Snowballs,red claw shrimp

If the hair algae starts to break out I will use excel for a little while but never all the time and I never overdose.

resowner has a CRS tank and uses excel for his plants and hasn't had a problem yet. As far as I know that is.

I use Excel every other day and Flourish twice a week. I have no problems other than my plants growing too fast.

BTW the tank has Cherries and Tigers for inhabitants.

I use it in my tank but just dont overdose. Start slowly and follow the directions.

i use excel and had ZERO problem...

I've used and sometimes also mildly overdosed Excel in CRS + White Pearl (Snowball) tank with tons of plants without any problems.

I've also used lots of excel with no problems.. Usually double dosing it.

CRS and RCS and some others over the times...

I think I should have changed the thread to a Poll instead and then input.

The reason for me asking is I had plants that would probably appreciate the carbon from Excel. But now, I have Marsiela Minuta, and Anubias nana petite. Which in my opinion do not need anything extra, they both are slow growing that doesn't need anything extra.
