Default Pysco shrimP??

One one my cherry shrimp (male i think due to color) is constantly bugging or maybe attacking other shrimps in the tank..
He constantly jump on the back of other shrimps and start picking on their head. The other shrimp would keep on jumping around until he is off...

Now when I see him do that, I would use a chowstick to scare or shoo him away, and he would jump right off, but often, he will start doing the same thing to another shrimp right away!!

Is he just trying mate or he is being psychotic? (He is doing it to male/female/pregnant female)

Don't worry about it. Some shrimps are just jerks.

His drive to mate is probably on overdrive. Is he the only male in the tank?

Yeah probably in heat. I used to have a dog that did the same thing to small kids.

It's fine, happens all the time. If you see males swimming around a lot, then it's mating season. And by season, I mean it's been a month since the last time.
