It is very well done.

But dated.

We've all learned that the genetics aren't as simple as once believed which can be showed by the high grade browns, and mixed red and black patterns that are seen here and there.

But for the basic understanding its great

They're out there. Typically seen more commonly (which is still pretty rare) in the higer grades.

All degrees of rusty brown are also getting more common.

I've got a good number of browns, no mixed patterns yet that I know of.

Hi Andrew,

according to leading German Red Bee breeders you get those brownies if you cross reds with a Golden Bee shrimp with black and white ancestors.

The graph shows the hereditary color transmission of Crystal Red and Black Diamond.

How's the offspring of your Brownies? Also brown? Can they be bred as a separate color line?

Hi,

me again. I'm trying to get Uwe Neumann, one of the leading German breeders, to write something more profound about the subject. However, as he's currently working on a project with someone else he won't find time to do so until August or September.
