Yeah they are tiny. I'm moving all mine to a new tank. I looked for about an hour in a tank with nothing in but soil and couldn't find any it on thursday night. 2 days later while pulling MTS out I found 4 tiny ones that seem to have been missed. They where so small they would go right through my small net. Truely amazing.

Hey why would you guys move em to a new tank? Is it to keep em safe?..or Is it just because you want more shrimp in different tanks?

Do you use tap or RO on your tank? I am impatient for mine to start breeding, although not enough time has passed, and I also wouldn't know if they had, since my tank is so heavily planted.

I think some people move them to a new tank because the might want a species only tank? Or maybe they are waiting for the shrimps to color up to see the grade to select breed em to get the highest of the batch. But you don't have to move them to another tank, you can just leave them in their they are safe as long as their are no predators to eat them and always have something over that intake so the shrimplets dont get sucked up. Hope that helped.

Oh, also, 2 of mine became berried pretty quickly, as they were already adults. However, it seemed that the berried stage was a bit longer than for RCS. But I didn't keep exact track, so this may have just been my impatience |
