is this a red cherry shrimp baby

i had a pregnant shrimp. i think this is a baby. i have seen this around for 3 days. its always stuck to the glass. i thought that baby shrimp were free swimming, this looks like a almost a snail with a head, no snails in the tank. its transparent looks like an egg with a head sticking out the side and two tiny antena. did the shrimp drop the egg and this is whats left. should i remove this from the tank. sorry for the bad pics, its very small.

I'm not much of an expert with snails, and you can end up with snails even if you don't have any in the tank. Sometimes, there may be snail eggs on the plants that you didnt notice when you got the plants. I can clearly see a shell and antennae. It is not a baby shrimp.

This is what a red cherry shrimp baby looks like:

The aquatics department at my Wal-Mart was disgusting. Half the fish in their tanks were dead. They remodeled the place and now they got rid of the whole aquatics department.

All Walmarts should do the same. Walmart should not be selling living things. It doesnt fit their business model. They do best with high volume numbers game sort of sales. Not the detail it takes to house healthy animals.

It looks like one of those flat ramshorns that drag their shell around.

creatures have a habit of "spontaneously" appear in your invert aquarium as there is no fish to feed em. I have several type of small snail that appear in my aquarium too, that being one of em. I have purposely added pond snail but the other type of snail just appear
