Excel or H2O2?

Hey,

I have some BBA i need to take care of in my tank. Ive read a bunch of threads about treating BBA with excel and h202. What is the more effective chemical? I have a lot of loaches in my tank and they are extra sensitive to chemicals introduced into the tank.
Tank is 55G

How much should i dose if i use excel?
How much should i dose if i use H2O2?

1st off are you running any type of CO2 system?
2nd you are only putting a bandaid on the cut and not fixing the problem by using these chemicals. What is causing the BBA? Fluctuating CO2 levels?
3rd I have used excel (and then increased my CO2) and you would need to see the dosing instruction on the bottle and then double the dosage.

I've read 5/ml Excel per 10g daily. At the same time try and maximize your CO2 level, stick to an aggressive WC schedule and keep the filters extra clean. The Excel will help rid the algae and the other stuff will put you on the right path to correct the root cause.

I'll let you know how it works. lol
