20 gal tall/ 2 light options opinions please
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 20 tall and was going to use it for saltwater. I currently run a 90 gallon reef w/ 20 gallon refuge and 90 gallon sump. I wanted to try my hand at a nano reef but I've decided I'd rather set up a planted tank. Before the reef I had a 45 gallon cube tank that was freshwater. I have some extra lights laying around that fit on the tank. The lights I have that I could use is either 4 x 13 watts PC or a 2 x 36 watt PC setup. I'm leaning towards the 4 x 13. Please give me your opinions. By the way I love the site, great work guys. Thanks, Jon |

Jon, welcome to The Planted Tank.
Both would work fine, it really depends on the type of plants you want to grow. If you want to grow lower-medium light plants go with the 4x13 or medium-high light plants go with the 2x36.
