Thoughts?
I have a dual DIY CO2 setup 2 soda bottles... Feeding the CO2 into my Aquaclear 300 I get 12-14 PPM I recently purchased a VOrtex Reactor and fed the CO2 into it and my CO2 level dropped to under 10 PPM. Bubbles go in and swirl around and the "sponge" pad on the bottom saturates with tinny co2 bubbles in it. Any ideas why it woulddrop the co2 level? Only other thing that hcanged in the tank was I added a 6"x4" pece of slate that i tied some riccia to. Thanks |

If your riccia is a new addition, it could be that your riccia is consuming CO2 faster than you're adding it. They do tend to be CO2 hogs!
