SW Florida planted tank get-together

OK so let's take this bull by the horns and get something going...

I'd love to get to meet you guys in person!

Sounds like the Bonita/Estero area of South Ft Myers might be a good "central" location for everyone...

So who would be available to get together towards the end of Februrary, what days and times of the week work best, and any suggestions on locations?

I'm interested. Can't give a good day/time as I do travel for work from time to time, but if I'm home, any time is good.

I'm basically available only evenings/weekends, located in Naples so San Carlos area isn't too bad. If not a home, maybe one of the places in Gulf Coast Town Center. If there's a quiet one that's not getting raided for drugs that is...

Maybe Islamorada Fish Company at the Bass Pro Shops. They have some side rooms and I know of a few groups that meet there. Good coconut shrimp and a large saltwater tank behind the bar too.

i really wish i could attend but its too far away from me

i live in such an awkward place lmao, 100 miles from tampa, 100 miles from naples. 100 miles from anyone in this hobby!

i was thinking somewhere in fort myers maybe. ive only been to the mall and guitar center though.

the Alico Road exit (127? next one South of Daniels, 2 exits South of Colonial, the new 2nd Airport exit mentioned about) has the Gulf Coast Town Center where Bass Pro shops is that Jeff mentioned above.

Would that be too far, Chris?

Do the Naples folks have issue with coming up to Daniels (131?) or Colonial Rd (136?) Exits?

thats the new shopping center right? ive been to bass pro and it took a while for me, idk if i could do it while schools still on. count me in for some meetings during the summer though
