Well if you asked for it, here you go.

6000 gallon koi pond. 35 koi, much bigger than this picture shows. Old picture.
Ultima II 6k, 6500gph pump, 5 JETS, 1 bottom drain, wished we put two in... v(^.^)V

WOW! That's beautiful lilhelper!

Thinking about purchasing some koi from a local koi breeder. Here's the ones i'm interested in. All of them are 18"-22", except for the white one which i'm told is 12"-15".

Not a true koi pond. Has rocks and plants. Not a true koi pond. I just can't sit by and let this happen anymore.

Sorry, but i'm really sick of hearing this "not a true koi pond" stuff.
I don't really care if these ponds may not be "traditional koi ponds", but they are still beautiful.
You guys are acting like these fish are being abused!

Maybe i should remove the koi part of the title.

Mine was actually just sarcasm back at lilhelper. Just trying to lighten up those people who have been so "anal" about what is a koi pond and what isn't.

Your pond looks awesome, his pond looks great too. I'm not sure why people can't just chill and admire a pond for what it is.

Thats a great pond AZ. I feel like every is against you in your journal =/. I read your turtle journal and this one as well. When i went to myrtle beach resort. They had a huge pond by the ocean that had carp and turtles. To get water into the pond they had public showers to rise the salt off adn the bad water went into the ponds. It was so heartbreaking =/. I still like your pond btw =D
