Hello fellow plant-lovers..

Since my friends and family do not share my passion for my jungle, I hope this will be as enjoyable as many of your photos have been to me.

I must say the advice given on this site is very true. Regular water changes, proper nutrient balance (CO2 and WPG), fertilization, and patience are the keys to heavy growth and algae control.

Anyway, the Aponogenten's will probably come out when I find something pretty. They put out ALOT of leaves, and are hindering the growth of my tenellus bed. Any suggestions for replacements? I got the light.

I'll try to update my album whenever my lady-friend brings over her good camera.

Steve

Very nice! Not a lot of contrast of greens, but sometimes it works well to stick with one shade of green and work the different shapes, sizes and textures of the leaves. And it is working very well for you, congratulations!

It seems you have some fairly coarse gravel. Is that a top layer?

Yes that is a top layer of coarse gravel on top of of some finer gravel. Fertilizer was added to the mixture before the top layer was added.

Your also right about the color, my rose swords are a little red, but thats about it. I think my next adventure will be another light for viewing, because those 10,000k bulbs make my room an irridescent green!

Thanks for the replies!

Nice tank! The different shapes and textures (like GulfCoast said) work well together!
