Given the sample of prices you posted from last year's, I feel like I'm just going to sit there for four hours and say "Seriously?" at the end of every auction.
Maybe I could go for the company and meet some local fishkeepers. ..then again, would I want to spend time with people who pay $8 for Ghost Shrimp and $5 for Duckweed. Gosh I'm negative. |

I may go. I did pick up some Goodeids and killie fish last time. As well as a few plants. My friend picked up a tank and some fish. I always expect the worst and always come out pleased

i joined the society 2 wks ago, and A. haven't recieved my membership card B. i havn't recieved any emails. C. i emailed somebody about this last week and haven't heard anything back. Nice to see in the pics it actually exists.

It's not exactly great either, since most stores seem to sell them at $6. Maybe my standards/expectations are too high, but I always feel like fish club auctions (especially a self-proclaimed big one) should have great deals and rare fish going. The sampled list looks like it could be easily beaten just by strolling into a couple of LFS.
