minnows
would minnows be ok to put in with guppies, i have a 55gal. i am working on making in to a planted community tank.

Minnow is a very general term, but if you are referring to the commonly found White Cloud Mountain Minnow, than I'd say the answer is certainly yes. I've only just added a few to my tank recently, but they're doing very well and I know many other people keep them in community tanks. Guppies get along with just about everyone, so they shouldn't pose a problem either.

^^ yup they would be fine i put minnows with a lot of different kind of fish and they do very well
