need plant recommendation

Tank: 10 gallon
Light: ~70W compact fluorescence
Dosing: Seachem Excel and others (iron, potassium etc)

These Rotala just grow too quick and I would like to replace it with some mid size slow grower (max tank height is about 12"). Could you please recommend some?
10 gallon Walmart tank, DIY CO2, HOB filter (sponge and ceramic ball) and coralife T5 (2x14W normal output). Dwarf hairgrass, rosetta sword, anubias and Brazilian pennywort. And that gree dust algae that I can never truly get rid off

Tough call. Taking away the color and leaf shape leaves alot of contrast options with the cryptocoryne in the midground.

Needle leaf java fern could be an option, but not sure if the colors would washout. You may need some driftwood if you went that route to break it up some.

Alternanthera reineckii is a slower grower though and still give you some gorgeous color! (If you want to try some, shoot me a PM)
