Thank you for the offer, but I'm scared that they are way too small to deal with my angels. Currently I have four in a 75 gallon and they all paired off, so they basically split the tank in 1/2 and attack whomever comes past the mid point line. What makes it even worse is that both are spawning on the almost same schedule (two days apart) so there are two sets of eggs in the tank which makes them supper agressive. I'm worried that a small pleco might get killed in the cross fire. I'm hoping that I can find bigger ones, although I might be able to put them in another tank of mine if you really need to get rid of them.

Petco Union Square I think is pretty much done with renovating the fish section. Noticed some Zebra Nerites (and they were alive!) and Bumblebee Platies.

Win had Albino Bristlenoses. I didn't go to Pacific, but I heard they got Melazona Guppies.

There were more dead fish at Petco this afternoon than I'd ever seen there before. I counted over 30 dead fish, amongst the different tanks.

I saw 3 nerites and they were all dead.

The bumblebee platies were really nice. Only one of those was dead.

However, the store has a MUCH better layout now that its renovated and looks much cleaner in general. Vast improvement overally. (Though the fish were having a bad day)

Yeah, there were definitely some dead Nerites yesterday, but there were also at least 5 living ones in the same tank. Probably should have picked some up myself. I also remember there were Horseface Loaches and quite a few Bamboo Shrimp. And yeah, the store looks a lot better now.

Supposedly, Pacific was selling the Melanzonas at the same price as Endlers ($15 a pair). That seems like pretty weird pricing.

I picked up a bunch of neons and cardinals from petco. Both cardinals were dead within 5 hours, 75% of the neons. The guy retrieving the fish killed one neon trying to catch it in a net. I used to have very good luck with the store, but would say that its probably worth letting their tanks get settled/established, and letting the employees learn how to catch fish in the new tanks (which are quite different from the old ones), before buying fish there.

Then again, with their return policy, it doesn't really matter. you can pretty easily get your money back.

Usual Manhattan rounds again today.

Petco has Orange Bee Shrimp, Zebra and Tiger Nerites, Bumblebee Platies still there... but like someone else mentioned, I don't really trust their tanks right now. They're also treating their grand re-opening like some sort of movie premiere.

Pacific definitely has the Melazonas, they were the blue variety, I think I saw a few yellows as well, but they might just be blues in lesser health. The freshwater flounder (still not ID'ed) has dropped to $15 I think.

Win has ich and fin rot.

The sky has rain.

Nice to run into you at petco leviathan0.
Not much has changed with petco's stock today.
I was looking for CPD's but they didn't have any.
Anyone know where I can get some CPD's?

Dropped by Win today and noticed that the GBRs now cost $8.50 each!

They don't have anymore neons or cardinals anymore =(

Does anybody know where I can get some GBR for a lower price?

Its not the price you need to worry about its the parasites and steroids!
Keep in mind when small, the less color the better.
I would go for quality and not price.
Will be ordering some fish from Mark at at anubias design.
Coral aquarium in Queens usually has GBRs, fishtown USA has the lowest price, but quality is hit or miss.
Have not seen good quality rams in Pasific, Win was better if in the city.
