Even with their 40% still overpriced.
SAE you can get at Win or Pacific in NYC, call them to see if they have them.

Thanks guys, I've got SAE at Winn yesterday. They are small, but ook like true SAE. Othet than that, there wasn't anything special, maybe except a tank full of healthy looking ottos, $1.75 each.

Looks like Union Square is reopening (or whatever) on 9/17.

Apparently, the dollar-per-gallon sale is starting again on 8/29 to 9/18. The 10, both 20s, 29, 40B and 55 are the ones for sale.

Went to Fauna on 87th street they had some really nice Bosmonie rainbows which where large, gold rams, zebra pleco and a few badis. Small selection of freshwater but great quality. Anyone every been to Manhattan Aquarium on 37th street?

I believe Win and the other shops in china town open up around 10:30 or 11am

I went to Royal Aqua World and Win today. The former had some smallish Amano shrimp for $2, along with some giant anubias. They also had some absolutely beautiful discus for around $35. Win had some nice rams for $2.50 and as mentioned before, some great otos for $1.75. The selection at the stores today was rather disappointing though.

Royal seems to have discus pretty often, and $35 for the 3 - 4 " range seem about right for the area stores. I need to stop by win. Anyone notice if they have any bristle nose plecs in any stores around? Win has them often, but haven't been there in a while. I need something that can do some cleanup after my angels that will eat algea and scraps. Apparently the amanos that I'm buying are just becoming $2 snacks for them.

i'd gotten a bunch of bristlenose pleco babies a while back. discovered them under a rock at this guys house where i was buying all his fish he had no idea! and plants and equipment. they were super small when i got them, like tad poles. but i have 6 of them in a 30g and that's not gonna last much longer for them. they are about an inch long now. really nice and all look surprisingly different from each other. but if you want you can grab a couple.

Cameo Pet Shop 11523 Jamaica Avenue Richmond Hill, NY 11418 718-849-6678
Always has nice BNs in stock, they are the oldest shop in queens NY.
The plants are nice, the stock is well kept, given it is limited.
That is if you want the BNs from local source, other wise the best are from Debbi online.
