Stopped by fishtown ysterday. They had some amanos for 2.75, some cherries for 2.99. Most of the other stuff was not too bad. I noticed a bunch of different tetras, and others. What vauht my eye was that they had two tanks of corys. One was sterbai for 8.99, and plageus ( I think) for 2.49. Also they had flourite, Eco complete, and some aquasoil ( not Ada)

Went to New world today, and saw bamboo shrimp for $9.99. Still can't find any dwarf cories in NYC, but they had a different bunch of full sized cories though.

Fishtown USA as of this morning:

Interesting finds:

Pygmy Cories (hasborus I think) - $1.49 ... I could barely resist buying these
Albino Bristlenose Pleco (3"... sexable) - $10.99
Atya Shrimp (Giant Filter Feeder.. huge) - $9.99
Gold White Clouds (great color) - $1.49 (or maybe $1.99... i forget)
Rummy nose tetras - $1.99

Green/bronze cories were only $1.99, common but not a bad price

I wish Fishtown wasn't so far, I want a few of the pygmy cories. I went by Wins this morning and he had the bristlenose albino plecos for $5.99/$6.99. I seen the marble crayfish but I don't think they are the ones in the march tfh issue (Crayfish Clones) because there were eatin fish in the tank. Pacific didn't have anything at all but they were putting out new fish (I think saltwater) when I was leaving.

Bklyndrvr,
Im glad you got the fish you were looking for.

Qckwzrd,
I was at Win today as well, and I saw the albino bristlenose. Im 90% certain they're albino longfins. They're very tiny, but their fins are longer than any shortfin bristlenose I've seen. It's hard to tell because they have fin rot, and there's a black moor goldfish in the tank with a very bad case of ich. If I had a spare hospital tank set up, Id get a couple. I wouldnt put any of those fish in a display tank without treating them first.

I do think the marble crayfish are the self-cloning type. The pattern looked almost identical to all the photos I've seen, although these showed no blue coloration whatsoever. When I was there, one was eating a goldfish. But apparently they're opportunistic feeders and will eat anything they can find or catch, including plants... I dunno.

A friend picked up 2 of the marble crayfish for me, I'll see if they are the real thing or not soon. No updates on anything ?

I stopped by the place on 65th street and 8th ave over the weekend. They still have CRS for $12 each now, and RCS and amanos for $1.75. But nothing else really special that I noticed. She restocked her plant selections, and saw many neons and "round eye" tetras.
