Please, you want to see actual Show quality fish, go see Bob on LI, he breeds show quality fish. Blue rams, guppies, angels....

If someon is into ballon rams, maybe they will pay

Who's Bob on LI? If he sells Blue rams that he breeds I am definitely interested. I will be setting up a tank and plan to add fish towards the end of April.

Eh, you're right. I would probably pay a thousand bucks for the original Voltron toy made by Matchbox....sealed in original box of course!

Anyways, don't want to derail the thread. How far out on LI is Frank's Aquarium? I'm setting up 2 nano tanks this weekend and will be in the market for some nano fish in the next couple of weeks

He's out in Lindenhurst, right off the Sunrise Highway.

About how far driving time once you get through the Midtown Tunnel? The thought of the cost of tolls kills me, but I know he has quality livestock and good prices. I'd rather pay the tolls than shipping charges, even if it is more.

An hour to an hour and a half depending on the traffic. You can take the LIE once you get out of the Queens Midtown Tunnel then get off at the Cross Island Parkway and head south to the Southern State Parkway. I think it's faster to get to Linderhurst via the Southern State Pkwy since Sunrise Highway has traffic lights at some parts.

Just wanted to let everyone know that 38 Aquarium (not sure what the heck I was doing in that place to begin with) has a tank against the window with two large oscars they are selling for $490 each. The tank is labelled "excellent oscars" and again they are $490 a piece!!!!!

Between over-priced fish like that and the lack of customers in their store....I'm still confused on how this place stays afloat.
