Converted 40G breeder to Cichlid setup...
After problems with my new water I decided to convert my heavily planted tank to a Malawi cichlid setup. This is ideal because the water is perfect for them right out of the tap. The tank still has some plants however because I could never truly rid myself of them. I dropped the lighting to 1.1 WPG to minimalize algae and removed the CO2. This setup is much easier to care for and the fish are amazing. I have fallen in love with this great group of cichlids.
I'll post some pics tomorrow night.
