10w led driver question

ok so i'm making another led light this time for a 55gallon I want to do 4-6 10w leds but I don't want 4-6 drivers maybe 2-3. so my question is what kind of out put voltage, or amps should I be looking for? also what would be the best way to wire them up series or parallel
thanks

Ask here.

Very helpful indeed, and I just bought 6 more Cree's that I will drive at 3 watts each.

Enough for me.

That's no where near enough info. What are the forward voltage of the LEDs? Wattage really only matters when cooling the chips.

3-4 10W are usually all you can really do in series.. most likely your V(f) is like 8-11V and 1A draw..
10W chips are usually 9 1W LED's..series/parallel 3 column.. BUT check..

Please post a link to the 10W leds that you plan to use.

Just as Jefkrol said most white, blue, and green 10W leds have a forward voltage around 10 - 12 V each. Red 10W are slightly lower at 8-10V each. If you're planning to drive a total of 6,you could drive 2 series strings of 3 leds using a couple of Meanwell LDD-H drivers and a small 48Vdc supply.

I have 4 10w ebay leds over my 55 gallon, wired in series. I'm using the Mean Well ELN-60-48D dimmable driver at about half power with no CO2
