wtb: 55 gallon aquarium

As title states, I'm looking for a 55 gallon standard aquarium in the Twin Cities area. Mine has a broken center plastic brace and is bowing. Craigslist has not been useful for me. Let me know if you have one you want to part with. Thanks!

minnfish.com also has a for sale section as well, be sure to check there.

Have you thought about replacing the broken brace with clear acrylic? Depending on where the brace is cracked or broken, it's doable.

It's not worth it to me to risk having the seals break later to bother w acrylic. The brace is broken all the way in the back, and is at least 10 years old so the seams may be getting compromised as well. There was just a post in minnfish but I will keep tropiquatics in mind.

This will be going under my 75 gallon to help reduce my tank clutter slightly.

At Forest Lake Pets. A little bit of a drive, just at little over $1 a gallon.

Thanks for the tips guys, after someone asking for $100 for a used tank (craigslist) I went with tropiquatics as I have been meaning to get over there.
