moss or what on holey rock
OK so I Have a great piece of holey rock I found in the hill country the other day. I am trying to find some sort moss or something that will attach and stay nice and close with little maintenance .
any thoughts? I was thinking about Fissidens splachnobryoides but discovered it would not grow submereged. Not sure why font changed? |

The font probably changed because you copied and pasted that latin name from a website?
You could try any of the common mosses: java, xmas, peacock, flame, willow, spiky, or weeping. I'd probably go with xmas or peacock on a rock. Or, you could tie some riccia or pelia or something to it.
