10 gallon puffer tank

Hello all. New to the forum and I thought I would show and tell a little. I'm not one of the guys who knows every single name of the plants I have, so don't bother asking. Anyway, here is my little 10 gal planted with a cute trio of dwarf puffers. Sorry for the bad pic, but it's in my 75g stand so it's kind of tough to get decent pics.

Currently it's running with a 65w pc light, diy co2, 2 hob filters, kno3, k2so4, kh2po4, plantex and a bit of iron mixed with ro water. I'm gonna be taking the hobs off in favor of an eheim 2213 pretty soon

Here's another pic with water spots and all.

Most of the plants you see came out of the tank it sits below which is this one. The plants will be taken out here shortly in favor of upgrading my saltwater tank to it.

As you can tell, I'm not much into aquascaping. I guess I kind of prefer the wilderness look. Comments/criticisms always welcomed. I'm gonna be starting up a little 5.5g shrimp tank here within the next couple weeks. The next adventure in fish keeping begins I guess.

Looks pretty good. I love DP's. How long have you had them in the 10 gal? I was wondering because I was going to get some more. The first 2 I had didnt make it, they died after 4 months. How about getting a full tank shot (FTS). How big is the bottom tank?

The first one I got has been in there for about 2 months. The tank at the beginning had very little plants in it. Just a little bit of the val or sag, whichever it is, and a too big for the tank sword. I bought 2 more of them a couple weeks ago and loaded the tank up with some creeping charlie and the water sprite which you can't see in those pics. That seems to keep them from ripping into each other.

I'm going to be building a 20x20x12 acrylic tank once I finish getting 2 more pumps and the live rock to turn the 75g into saltwater. I'll have to make room under the stand for the sump at that time so the puffers will finally see the light of day so to speak. That size tank will be almost 20 gallons so I'm thinking I could probably put 1 or 2 more into the tank then. Once that happens, I'll also throw on some pressurized co2 and maybe a 2x65 but I'm not sure of that yet.

Phoenix, if you don't mind me asking, what program do you do your artwork with?

On a side note, I went and bought a 5.5g and one of those 27w desk lamps for Home Depot. Maybe I'll have some pics up in a new thread for that tomorrow.

I use paint Adobe PaintShop Pro 9 with a Wacom tablet PC. So I use a pet directly on my screen, all free hand direct to program.

I took a couple more pics after doing a little glass cleaning. Rekles, you wanted to see a FTS so here ya go. Not much more to see since some is hidden by the stand but it's the best I can do.

Here are a couple more of what have to be the most interesting fish to watch I've kept.
