Plant guild Power Reactor

I mistakenly ordered the non Power Reactor (which is the unit but without the airpump) I assume. I ordered it from a shop online (dont want to discredit the name as they so far have been great!).

I contacted them and they said they would send me the pump for the 9 dollars difference that the Power Reactor costs.

SO I have the Non Powered REactor and they are sending me the pump... will this work or do I need the Power Reactor?

Also should there be a bottom on the power reactor below the green sponge? On mine there is not a bottom piece its open.

I have the power reactor running for a couple of months now. There is no bottom cover. The green sponge keeps the bubbles in, but it must be cleaned every couple of weeks. The pump that came with mine is a Rio50 submersible pump. It's output is simple connected to the top of the reactor tube. Works nicely. I would think that combining your non-power reactor with the right pump will give you a functional power reactor.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
