Hengelis, espeis, maculatus, or CPDs for a 10g

I wanted to get a small school of one of these and i was wondering if anyone had any input on these. also, if there was any preference of hengelis or espeis, they seem very similar to me but i was leaning towards hengelis for the schooling. anyways, i was thinking about keeping maybe 7-10 of these along with a scarlet badis, would that work?

I'd get the Boraras Maculatus. They're nice and colorful, and smaller than the other fish as well (well just about the same size as the CPD too)

I have hengeli.. They're great schoolers with 6+ but you'd obviously need something bigger than a 10G.

i like CPDs a lot. they are a really cute little fish, and are pretty active.

cpds do pretty well in larger numbers and in bigger tanks. go with maculatus, i have 5 in a 7.5g tank, very VERY active, and have huge appetites

Another vote for maculatus or a similar Boraras species. They will make the 10g look huge!

I would go for the Maculatas or the CPD's. I have both of them, and they are both amazing fish. The maculatas I find are mid to upper level schoolers. The CPD's are usually very skitish I find unelss kept in larger numbers, and in turn, kept in a larger tank.
