Marimoball's 10" rimless cube [_]

Ok my ADA 30C is still in its original box, but I have a 10" cube that im gonna set up for practice. About six months ago I bought a 10" cube and took off the top rim and kept the glass lid. I used the ADA metal clips to place the glass lid on the clips. This tank will replace the infamouse AquaHo which was taken down just three weeks ago. Here is the thread. http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/pl...ate-56k-5.html
Its all ready been planted but here is what it looks like empty.the light came from a LFS that sells it with there 5 gal hex tank. I added a 23watt 6500k full spectrum CFL. Here is a pic. will update tomorrow.

Cool little cube. I've never seen a rimmed cube like that. What brand is it?

My computer froze so im gonna upload the pics through my asus eee (love this thing). Chris you are right its closer to 5 gals considering the ADA 30 C is about 7 gal. I cant find the light you see in the pic so im using a 24watt PL that was on my old nano. its one 7100k/pink but its 13" so it hangs over. Im also usinig pressurized paintball Co2. Ok Ok let me get those pics.

I tried some manzanita and black lava rock. the foreground will be fine grain natural color gravel.

then I brought out the mighty seiryu stone but the stone was too straight and looked like a wall. I have more but I will save it for the 30C.

I finally decided to use the same kind of stone I have in my 60P it has some rust color surfaces and the rest turns a nice green when in water for a while. kinda like yamaya stone.

everything from the old tank was transferred plants, water, shrimp, aquasoil, and filterl. so no cycling to do it took about two hrs.
just after filling up. this was 3 weeks ago

any and all opinions welcomed.

Thanks ed and fish. The rocks are from a rock yard they only specialize is rocks for gardens. The manzanita was purchased at Micheal craft store some one told me the had some there and I went to check it out and there it was. I guess its used for hanging stuff in on it in store displays. The wood was boiled until the red skin came off and the tanins released. The wood immediately sank.
