Danio Deformity
Okay, so here is another question. We have a danio we bought about 6 months ago, and she had a larger tummy. We thought she was older, and was definatly female. As she grew though, the "pudge" in her tummy got really misshapen. At times it was almost completely square. It was very stange. At any rate, now she is twice as big as our new danios, but her tummy looks like she swallowed a rock about half her size. Here is a picture...
Does anyone know what this is? Is it worth it breeding her, keeping her, or should she be culled? What do you guys think? We are really stumped about this. |
