What kind of sponge
Where can i find some sponge that is aquarium safe? I want some for DIY filter, and just want to make sure i dont kill my fish. Ive used different filter sleeves, but they inhibit the flow too much. thanks

The answer will partly depend on the size sponge you need.
Big Al's http://www.bigalsonline.com sells house brand sponges that are the same size as Aqua Clears, for pocket change. Large single sheets can be pricey simply because so few places stock them. http://www.angelsplus.com/FiltersSponge.htm sells a 4" x 2' x2' "reticulated" sponge for $70.00 |
