Got his eye ate

I'm sad. My paradise fish ate the eye out of my biggest white cloud... white cloud thrashed around for 30 seconds. Now it's a floater.

I couldn't believe it either... I'm surprised the paradise fish was able to get the drop on the faster white cloud.

mmmm... I've seen this. One time I was at an LFS, and they had the baby angelfish in with the baby pike... and as I was picking out which angels I wanted, the best-looking one was up in front, distracted by my finger (I was checking him out) and then comes the pike and grabs onto his eye! I screamed in the store... but by the time a store employee got to him, the pike had succeeded in ripping out the angel's eye. The pike was immediately removed from the tank with angels... I duno where they ended up putting him.

It's been a few days now since the eye incident... no other issues have come up. White clouds are healthy. I am happy to report that I'm very impressed with the colors of the white clouds. they really are a great little fish.
