24" 24w T5HO bulb options.

The "Freshwater" bulb in my 30" Current USA fixture recently died. It's pink and I believe that its color temp is 6700k. The only 24w replacement that I've seen at this wattage is Current's offering. Are the any others?

Thanks,

Lamar

If you're looking for a pink bulb then how about an Aquaflora? I have one in combo with a Midday and I think it looks good. It does bring out the reds in the plants and fish and IMO that combo has a very natural look to it.

I use these (in a different wattage):

Looking at the spectral data, it seems to me like they this bulb and the one that Jeff5614 post are 99% the same bulb.

You can also consider Hagen's PowerGlo bulb. I'm running that one along with a 10k bulb over my 90gal, and IMO it looks pretty nice. I do think that the PowerGlo would probably look better combined with a 6700/6000k bulb, but I haven't gotten around to getting one to try out quite yet...

They are pretty close in appearance. I compared two Middays with the Aquaflora/Midday combo and the difference is small. You won't be disappointed either way.
