Ivy??

I have about a dozen clipping of small ivy sitting in a glass bottle on a window... and seeing that the leaves haven't died in the water for over a month, I decided to take a portion with roots and plant it in my tank! My plan is to make the back wall look like Wrigley outfield...

How long do you think it will survive? If it doesn't work out, I'm going to grow some out of my hob and have it loop around the front of the tank... maybe I should do that anyways. Well, here's a picture.

Most terrestrial plants will die if submerged. Ivy is no exception. Use fake plants if you want an ivy backdrop in your tank. It might work as a background OUTSIDE of the aquarium though.
