i have the same problem. i bought some java moss from a LFS but it was dead and didnt relize it at the time it was not in a tank but in a little plastic deli cup you get about 5 pickles in. only about a drop of water in it.. lucky me the cup cracked on the way home broke open and smelled like my girlfriend [censored][censored][censored][censored] her self... now its in the tank a few weeks and lost all green color and turned brown.
i live in ne philly any help would be much apreciated!! |

Is there a Chinatown in Philadelphia? If so, take a look around. The aquarium shops of chinatown often yield valuable treasures for careful explorers. The plants are especially good.

so the hidden reef finally got a new batch of moss in... this time it looks green, insted of looking like brown dead grass. and it didnt smell like a dingleberry which is allways a bonus!

Beautiful day today so I decided to take a stroll down Chinatown and see what I could find. After a few minutes of walking around I couldn't believe I actually found a fish store. Suddenly I was overcome with joy at the thought that I may have found a shop with some decent aquascaping stuff so I decided to walk in only to find a hallway with nothing but a door, a doorbell, and about five cameras pointed at the door. I tried to open the locked door but realized pretty quickly it was probably a good idea to avoid ringing the bell and just walk out of there.

ECA will order anything you ask for. So will nemo's. Nemo's has allot more plants in stock also. Along with all the high tech equipment. Price wise, I think they are the same for most things. The only choice is travel depending on where you are.
