i think im right in saying that uv is at the very blue end of the spectrum.
i could possibly add a small one with a little starter i dug up today. wonder what my fish would look like with one

yeah, black lights you buy in the stores don't put out harmful UV light...its not the same lght as you'd find in a UV Sterilizer.
i've seen some people using blacklights as their 'moonlight'
