Imgur vs Photobucket

I don't know which one to sign up for. lol.I'm starting to get into photography and it's taking up way to much space on my laptop and as an external image hosting site which one do you use? Is there really a difference, and what the major pros and cons of both.

I've used photobucket but I haven't used Imgur. I think Imgur is probably better just because I didn't care for uploading and linking to images from photobucket. Honestly if your just storing images Flickr is pretty great I use that alot especially since my 1 tb external is almost filled up.

I use Imgur as well. Though, with external drives priced as they are, it might just be better to get a 3 TB drive and be done with it.

Flickr is great for high res photos. For simple image hosting for forums, I use imgur.

Cool looks like I'll set up and account on imgur. My picture limit here in the forum is getting full so that's why I was looking for something online. Thanks

I use photobucket, currently I beleive they give away or did give away the most storage for free. You can get a total of 10gigs for free with them. You get 2 free gigs for signing up, and another 8 free gigs if you download the phone app and link your phone to your account. Works pretty well, and since I use my phone to take the majority of my pictures it is really easy to upload them as soon as I take them. The have improved the app too, it used to be really slow but now it uploads pretty quickly.
