I added 14 cardinal tetra to my 75g planted tank last week and Im wondering if I can add 7 or 14 more. The other inmates include 6 superveil angel(small), 3 honey gourami, 1 yoyo loach, 1 CAE and 7 amano shrimp.

I would leave as is...One thing you may want to think about, when those Angels get larger they will eat those tetras.

A full grown cardinal should not be able to be a meal to a full grown angel or discus.

The Cardinal tetra is a slender fish and a Angel has a big mouth. I have seen my Angels slurp up tetras & dwarf corys. I would just be cautious putting the two together.

I'd add more loaches instead. They also do better in groups

You must be refering to small young cardinals. My cardinals are about 1 1/2 inches long and about a half inch thick in the middle. I doubt ANY Angel can catch them much less fit it their mouth.

All the loach does is root up the moon sand, a messy fish. So far the angels have not expressed interest in the tetras.

Another example of the lack of absolutes in this hobby.
I have successfully kept angels and jumbo neons together in the past.
I attributed that, in part, to the fact that I started both of them young. So I assumed the little angels did not automatically view their tankmates as food, and the neons grew up knowing how to avoid their predator neighbor.

On another occasion, I attempted to introduce a school of neons into a tank with 3 medium-sized angels. It was pretty amazing how quickly and effectively the angels worked together, systemmatically herding and devouring every single neon within an hour or two.

Impressive, but a little expensive for feeders!

In short, with small angels, I'd assume you could enlarge an existing school of cardinals. But don't be surprised if one day you find your angels' tastebuds changed...
