Satellite+ vs. Regular Satellite

Hello, I'm looking into a low light LED fixture, and I was wondering, what is the difference between the Satellite fixture and the Satellite Plus fixture? Is it just the new/exotic features? Or do they put out different PAR values? Would you mind providing a PAR value chart for the Satellite; I've seen the one for the Satellite Plus already. Thank you

I haven't seen a PAR chart for the regular Satellite fixture, but the + is almost twice as much wattage and the price is only about $10 more for any of the fixture sizes. Also while the regular Satellite does have some FX the control is wired and much simpler, also there is no RGB... So for only $10 more in most cases I just don't see any point to the regular satellite fixture under most circumstances. You get RGB and wireless control and almost double the wattage (and a lot more PAR) for only a few dollars more with the +.

You can compare most stats and get an idea on pricing from these pages... (EDIT* Actually you can find the regular satellites for quite a bit cheaper like here... http://aquascapedepot.com/shop/curre...e-led-fixture/)

Also there is the new E-series which are like a + fixture on Steroids with a built in ramp timer, which are currently on sale...

OOOOO thats a nice sale of the E-series. I've been wanting to upgrade my T5s to LED and this is a good excuse. So tempting.

The PAR for 8" on the regular SAT is only 33.

It's a little more than $10 though

The price for the 24" regular sat is around $47 while it's around $80 for the plus version.
Either way , get the plus better
