I have a 37 gallon tank that is planted with an amazon sword (full grown), some val, two anubias, and two compactas. I have 5 Corydoras melini, 4 otos, 3 cherry barbs, and a Yoyo loach. The otos aren't doing jack for the algae. I have 6 amano shrimp and they do some, but not enough. I want to get two angelfish...or maybe just one...and something to eat all types of algae. I am hoping someone here will have a suggestion. Anybody?

A Siamese Algea Eater would be helpful if you can find one, I suppose.

The Ottos eat mostly brown algae, Amano shrimp eat hair algae mostly off rocks & gravel.

I would try some Tiger shrimp they are great for eating algae off the plants. Some other suggestions are: SAE's, Bristle-nose catfish, American flag fish,Synodontis brichardi.
