Snails

Was wondering if anyone has or knows of a place I can get a few Ramshorns to throw into my tank? I appear to have an arsenal of Pond and Bladder snails and I just acquired a few Malaysian Trumpets. Thinking I might as well get some Ramshorns to add into the mix. The other three I acquired at House of Tropicals but I don't recall seeing any Ramshorns there. I've only really seen Mystery's at Petco and PetsMart. Any ideas? Thank you.

I "collect" mine. Usually a lot easier in a pond or waterway which has an aria which has no current.

Yes i did!! Method really hooked me up. Went in getting snails, came out with home made root tabs, cuts of Myriophyllum Mattogrossense and a ton of Ramshorns. Thank you again Method . And thank you for the offer jkpedrita. It is really appreciated.

Hi everyone... I'm going to jump in on this thread... I'm also in MD and have a few snail questions...

I have a 30 gallon, heavily planted community tank. I picked up some Malaysian Trumpets snails a year or so ago because I had an algae problem on some of my plants. They did a great job cleaning it off and I seem to have a pretty good population going now. They are mostly nocturnal so we really only seem them in the early morning or occasionally during the day.

My kids love seeing them on the plants and glass though. What other types of snails would everyone recommend for my tank? Any cool looking snails that would do well in my tank without causing issues?

Thanks everyone
Scott
